THIS SHOOT. So much beauty to photograph.
Inspiration behind this project:
I am so in love with unique and non-traditional wedding trends. I believe any wedding can be made beautiful in it's own way, and I adore brides who think outside the box. In my opinion, the wedding dress is the biggest statement at a wedding (and what will get the most attention). Anytime I am attending a wedding (or even photographing one where I haven't seen the brides dress yet), my favorite game is to guess what the bride's dress will look like. Come on, you know you all do it too! And without fail, no matter how different/traditional/chic/vintage/simple/glamorous the dress is, I love it every time.
So this shoot, is all about the dress.
About a bride who isn't afraid to be bold. To stand out. To make a HUGE statement. A gold wedding dress. And this dress is beyond beautiful. Not only am I obsessed with the color gold, but I just ADORE how fabulous and glamorous it is! How gorgeous would this be for a wedding gown! And, if you're going to have a gold wedding dress, you've got to have details to match! The calligraphy paints by the talented Brittany of That's Pretty Ace (thatsprettyace.com) represent sweet quotes depicting love, while incorporating the concept of "gold." The floral decor by Bristol Lane florals complements the gold look flawlessly. The gold wedding suite is just to die for by Taylor of Magnolia Tree Paperie (www.magnoliatreepaperie.com), who wouldn't be amazed opening this invite?! And Rayven of Beauty and the Blush (alwayswearblush.com) outdid herself with hair and make up. (And a big thank you to Carah Vallejo for being a stunning model!)
I hope you enjoy this beauty as much as I did! And a HUGE thank you to Magnolia Rouge (magnoliarougemagazine.com) for featuring this on their blog!
