Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you based out of?

I serve couples both in Atlanta and Dallas/Fort Worth. Though these are my home locations, I am willing (no, would be ECSTATIC!) to travel wherever you may need photography!

I have to ask, why film? Isn’t that outdated?

You would think, right? I get so many looks and questions when I’m putting a new roll of film into my camera. Believe me, film is what gives me life in my work. To make it simple, it gives me the natural, light, clean look I strive to give my clients. To make it geeky, the way it handles skin tone and color is unreal. I also love the focus it gives me as an artist. With each click of the shutter, I am compelled to be intentional and composed. Film is one of the many things that inspires me as an artist.

Do you book any couple that inquires with you?

I don’t, but let me explain! Your photographer for your wedding is such an important choice, that I want to make sure you find the right fit for you! I truly believe the only way a bride can be happy is if she chooses vendors that she trusts creatively. If I am available for your date, let’s hop on a phone call and get to know each other more! If I feel like we mesh well, then absolutely let’s move forward together! If I feel like there are options better fitted for you, I’m happy to guide you in the right direction!

Do you edit your images?

Yes. Absolutely. My editing style is very natural and clean, and I promise every image you receive will have been touched and looked over.

How do we get our images?

I deliver your images through an online gallery called PASS! It’s a special online platform where you can download your full gallery, share with your loved ones, and more! Here you can select your favorites, pick images for your album, and even order prints if you’d like!

What equipment do you use?

I use both film and digital, taking advantage of the best of both worlds! For film I primarily use a Contax 645 with Fuji 400 film. For digital I use a Canon Mark iii with a variety of prime lenses. I always bring backup equipment with me in case anything unfortunate were to happen!
